Board Overview

Siddharth Gunvant Shah is the Chairman and Managing Director of SS Retail and has been associated with the Company since its incorporation. With over 24 years of experience in the mobile phone retail industry, he provides overall growth and operations of our Company.

He oversees strategic leadership, retail operations management, business development and alliances, financial management, team leadership and development, branding and marketing, governance and compliance leadership relating to the overall growth and operations of our Company.

Harshal Parekh has been on the Board since the Company’s incorporation and has over 16 years of experience in the retail industry. He is responsible for technology leadership, corporate governance and compliance, legal and secretarial affairs, as well as strategic and cross-functional collaboration.

Deepa Siddharth Shah is a Whole-time Director and has been associated with the Company since its incorporation. She holds a degree in Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery and is a registered homeopathic practitioner.

With over 16 years of retail experience, she leads marketing and media, training and capability development, service operations, supply chain management, internal audit and compliance.

Sagar Patil has more than 16 years of experience across retail, media and entertainment industry. He holds a post graduate diploma in management sciences and has previously worked with Reliance Entertainment Studios Private Limited and I-Kingdom Retail LLP (earlier known as I-Kingdom Retail Private Limited).

He is responsible for channel partner development and management, strategic planning and business growth, sales and performance optimization, governance and compliance, as well as leadership, and cross-functional collaboration and oversight on the financial affairs of our Company.

Ajay Sharma has over 26 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s degree in business administration.

He was previously associated with Usha Intercontinental (India), HTC Corporation, Micromax Informatics Limited, Obi Mobile Private Limited and Jaina Mobile India Private Limited.

Asit Chimanlal Mehta has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services sector. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India, holds a postgraduate diploma in securities law, and has completed programs from IIM Ahmedabad and The Drucker Institute, Claremont Graduate University.

He is associated with the Asit C Mehta Advisors Limited, Asit C Mehta Investment Intermediates Limited and Asit C Mehta Financial Services Limited.

Anupama Koppar has more than 28 years of experience. She holds a postgraduate diploma in business management and a master’s degree in commerce and has pursued PhD in business policy and administration.

She has previously worked with Parle Products Limited, Marico Industries Limited, The Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company Limited, Timex Watches Limited, TNS India Private Limited, JWT (a unit of Hindustan Thompson Associates Private Limited) and TATA Teleservices Limited. She associated as a Director – Innovation, Consumer & Market Insights SAPMENA at L’Oréal India Private Limited.

Adke Abhishek Ashok has been registered as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa for more than 18 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Mumbai.

He previously worked with Legasis Partners, Advocates and Solicitors. Since April 2017, he has been practicing law through his own law office.
